A Friday without Poppy & Grandma Paula

My parents are in Texas right now, although not in the path of Ike.  They’re hanging out with WWII vets, of whom my Dad’s Dad is one, who get together every year to remember the incredible things they accomplished and celebrate the lives they’ve been privileged to live. We’re only jealous that we aren’t there with them.

Here’s what he’s up to today instead of chasing the dogs…

This train is from Jud's parents and it's been a favorite since it arrived last Christmas

He really wanted his feet to be in the pictures with him. I don't know why.

  1. Look at him! He’s completely a little man – so grown up looking! Can’t wait to see you guys – hopefully Truman will be able to keep up with Gideon:)

  2. All is calm and beautiful in San Antonio! We are missing our little buddy, but enjoying exceptional tales of heroism from WW-II as told by the men and women of the 454th Bomb Squadron.
