Not a Candidate for Jay-Walking

This afternoon, instead of taking a nap, due in part to a missing fire pig (much fist shaking toward the sky), Gideon wandered downstairs while CNN Headline news was playing a live speech from the president. He stops to listen and watch.

I turn and ask him if he knows who that is on the television.

“Barak Obama,” he says.

I ask him if he knows what Barak Obama’s job is. He says he does.

“He runs the government.”

Yeah. I’m bragging.
