Apparently Gideon has transferred Hop Hop beyond the realm of insects. Yesterday, when my dad pulled up for lunch Gideon yelled “Hop Hop”. Today, when we left Fareway and he saw the Jimmy Johns sign, he said “Hop Hop, Jimmy Johns?” And tonight, while at church (where my dad was not as he is on vacation) Gideon walked toward his office door and said “Hop Hop” complete with the jumping motions. It’ll work.
Sounds like he’s doing really well! Jesse only had about 5 words by 18 months. (I remember him failing a languange screening by one word at 19 months because the lady said “meow” doesn’t count as a word). We’re still suprised at how much Winter can talk because of our experience with Jesse first. He sure talks a lot now, though!
Bumble bee, that’s a great one! And it’s good that you have “touchdown” in there 🙂
